Another Plane Disappears from Radar. This One At 37,000 Feet

Plane Disappears

An Egypt Airline Airbus carrying 66 people fell off of radar early Friday morning and has been confirmed crashed.

The plane was only 20 minutes from its destination in Cairo after departing from Paris.

The strange part is that the plane fell off of radar at 37,000 feet. The weather was clear at the time and there was no distress calls to the tower.

What happened? How did it crash?

It is too early to tell, but most signs are pointing to a missile or explosion. Initially it is the most logical explanation, but the world is hoping it is something less devastating.

Right now we do know the passengers’ nationalities, and there were no Americans on board. The manifest included 30 Egyptians, 15 French, 2 Iraqis and one person each from the UK, Belgium, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Chad, Portugal, Algeria and Canada.

There was also ten Egypt Air crew members on board.
