Remembering Pearl Harbor – 75 Years Later

75 years ago, the Japanese executed a surprise attack on the base in Pearl Harbor.

December 7th is a day that lives in infamy and we can’t forget why.

The day after the attack, the Library of Congress recorded the reactions of everyday Americans. Some of which turned out to historic figures.

On this day, remember what happened 75 years ago when we lost almost 2,400 Americans as we were thrust into the Second World War.

Sadly the course of war and history thrust upon America would not end until two atomic bombs were dropped in Japan.

It all happened 75 years ago today.
