Ann Coulter

Come on over Ann! We have cookies . . . craaazy cookies!

The liberal TV host of TBS’ “Full Frontal,” Samantha Bee, discussed Ann Coulter’s recent blog posts about President Donald Trump’s apparent failures to “win,” and also metaphorically patted Coulter’s back for her decision to change her attitude towards the president.

Talking to reporters at the Turner Upfront presentation on Wednesday, Bee said, regarding Coulter’s recent series of articles and interviews eviscerating President Trump, “She’s been wrong about a lot of things, I think it’s nice to have a little self-awareness every once in a while.”

“Good for her!” Bee added.

One of Trump’s biggest and most vocal supporters during the 2016 presidential election, Coulter has been changing her tune regarding the president and his actions.

In a blog earlier this month, Coulter claimed the president was “comically improbable” and condemned his inability to “win.”

Slamming him for over-promising and under-delivering, Coulter humiliated the president for seemingly backing off of several campaign promises, most notably the US-Mexico border wall.

“Not only is there no funding for a wall,” she wrote, “but — thanks to the deft negotiating skills of House Speaker Paul Ryan — the bill actually prohibits money from being spent on a wall.”

“The deal was that we were getting the Hollywood version of a New York businessman,” Coulter wrote. “An uncouth, incurious rube — who would be ruthless in getting whatever he wanted.”

“We want the ruthless businessman we were promised,” Coulter demanded.

During an interview with The Daily Caller on Monday, Coulter took aim at the president again, saying that she was ready to jump ship on Donald Trump.

Talking about President Trump’s first 100 days in office, she said, “I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues.”

“I think all of the Trump true believers are petrified,” Coulter concluded.

As if she needed any further evidence that the radical Left would rather shout her down than argue with her about the merits of her views, protesters convened at one of Ann Coulter’s books signings this past week to disrupt the event, destroy property and threaten her fans.

Coulter, a political firebrand and prolific author, appeared at a Barnes and Noble bookstore in Costa Mesa, California to sign copies of her new book “Adios America: The Left’s Plan to Turn our Country into a Third World Hellhole”.

The event, which attracted streams of fans who waited patiently to meet her and have their copies of her book signed, was orderly until protesters seated in an adjacent Starbucks invaded the bookstore to shout slogans at her including “Undocumented, unafraid!” “Ain’t no power like the power of the people ’cause the power of the people don’t stop!”

As security officers fended off protesters who attempted cut to the front of the line and confront Coulter directly, other protesters unfurled a large banner that read “Adios, Ann Coulter” next Mexican and anarchist flags.

One protester was heard screaming “Go back to Europe, Ann Coulter!” “When our communities are under attack, what do we do? Fight back!”

Coulter’s fans waiting in line, including some young children, mostly ignored the protesters while others defiantly held up copies of their signed books in counter protest.

Because she has been the target of similar fascist attacks in the past – at other book signings and on college campuses where she has been invited to speak – the incident did not faze Coulter, who continued to sign books, speak with supporters and pose for photographs with fans.

The ordeal did not end with the book signing.

As security personnel escorted Coulter out of the store, protesters restarted their attacks by shouting “Shame on you!” at those seen with copies of her book and by ripping up a copy of the book and littering the area outside the store entrance with paper.

Coulter later told Breitbart News that:

“You have to understand”…“screaming and defacing things is how Latin Americans express disagreement. At least as long as they were destroying books and screaming in a book store, they weren’t molesting any 4-year-olds.”

Coulter also appeared on Fox News’ The Kelly File to talk more about Adios America saying:

“Immigration is a government policy like any other and it ought to be used to benefit the people already living here. That includes recent immigrants,” Coulter said. “There should not be any criminals coming in.”
