Bruce Jenner

military

Now that Bruce Jenner has come out as a woman, anyone can use a Target bathroom of their choice, and MMA men can fight as girls, even the United States military is falling in line with catering to “gender neutrality”.

The Navy and the Marines are preparing to change many of the military titles to more gender-neutral terminology. They are taking “men” out of the military.

Terms like “basic infantryman” are going to be switched to “basic infantry Marine”. In most cases, the word “men” or “man” will be replaced with Marine.

The Marines are changing 19 of their titles during this process.

For some reason though, “rifleman” and “mortarman” will not be altered.

Some of the females in the Air Force were asked about the terms and the changes, but very few of them thought they were necessary.

The change is coming during a national trend to get rid of all evidence of different genders.

Target recently removed all “boy” and “girl” colors and titles and now the toy sections are not gender specific.

Do you think we should change the names of the military positions to accommodate all genders?

Caitlyn Jenner

Bruce Jenner, the former Olympic gold medalist, decided to become a woman named Caitlyn Jenner. Now reports say Caitlyn Jenner is having second thoughts about being a woman and is thinking about “transitioning” back to Bruce.

Wow. The end must be near!

Caitlyn’s biographer and those close to her are saying she is having a hard time being a woman. Jenner’s publicist denies these claims, but there are numerous reports of people closest to Caitlyn saying she wants to switch back in the next few years.

Reports are saying that Caitlyn still is interested in women and for some reason is having a hard time finding the right one. Really?

This is the man/woman that decided to bring the transgender issue front and center and is now having thoughts of changing? That just makes this whole thing even more laughable. Honestly laughable.

We have an Olympic star who becomes a female on national TV and sparks a pro- transgender movement that has reached a point where we are changing our bathroom laws to account for the sliver of transgenders in the population.

Now after causing all that mess, Caitlyn wants to go back? Do we get to go back to actually having a male and a female bathroom?

Can we go back to not having confused kids in first grade learning about how some men like to dress up like women and head to the docks on a Saturday night?

Can we get back some of our soul that we lost during this discussion?

Will Bruce Springsteen play in North Carolina again?

This whole thing is a mess and there is no going back.

No matter what Caitlyn does to “transition” back to Bruce, she will still have parts of a she, when she is a he. She is going to make him wear a bra for the rest of his life. So when he is no longer a she and back to being who he was, is he no longer transgender? Sorry, we’re just confused, like every other rational person in America.

One thing we are not confused about is the direction of this country and it isn’t looking good.

Are you confused? Let us know in the comments.

Caitlyn Jenner was named the most fascinating person of the year—according to Barbara Walter’s annual “10 Most Fascinating People of 2015,” special, which aired last week.

According to the octogenarian news anchor, Jenner caused a “seismic shift in the gender universe” this year when she transitioned from a man named Bruce to a woman named Caitlyn.

“The transformation of Bruce Jenner, who performed heroic feats of endurance in winning the Olympic gold medal for the decathlon, into Caitlyn Jenner, who performed heroic feats involving hair extensions and eye makeup, was fascinating,” said Walters.

She added: “Caitlyn’s celebrity brought new attention to the grim reality of life for many transgendered people.”

Despite Jenner quickly becoming—by far—the most famous transgender person on the planet and giving new visibility to the nascent transgender-rights movement, she’s faced a backlash of criticism from a number of other, less famous transgender women.

Their biggest complaint is that, while many of them have been thrown out of their homes and face poverty and employment discrimination, Jenner is wealthy—and is, thus, free to get plastic surgery to make herself look more feminine and buy designer clothes, all while documenting her experiences on a reality show.

Jenner’s also faced criticism from old-school feminists, who are angered at the idea that a “privileged man” could decide to become a woman—as is becoming a woman is just a matter of getting some hair extensions and pretty dresses.

And, of course, Jenner’s also faced a backlash from many on the right—who don’t believe it’s possible for Jenner (or anyone) to change her biological makeup to become anything but a man in a dress.
But, whether loved or hated, it’s clear that Jenner has been a major point of discussion in 2015—and Walters is sticking by her decision to honor the transgender sports hero.

“She became a champion for people who had long been pushed to the margins of society,” Walters explained. “Famous and familiar, she raised awareness and acceptance of transgendered people. Through her own transformation, Caitlyn Jenner transformed society this year.”

She added: “And that, for us, makes her the most fascinating person of 2015.”

Pope Francis is scared about the future of marriage.

When speaking to Catholic bishops from Puerto Rico in Rome, he talked about the wonderful things about marriage–and how it’s directly under attack by the new-age idea of “gender identity.”

“Let me draw your attention to the value and beauty of marriage,” Francis said. “The difference between men and women are not of the order of opposition or subordination, but rather communion and generation, always as the image and semblance of God.”

“The sacrament of marriage is a sign of God’s love for humanity and Christ’s commitment to His bride, the Church. Take care of this treasure…”

Over the last few weeks, issues of “gender identity” have risen to front page headlines. Inspired mostly by Caitlyn Jenner, the reality TV star formerly known as Olympian Bruce Jenner, who publicly came out with a spread in Vanity Fair magazine, it seems to be the topic of conversation all around the globe–even reaching its way to the Vatican, with Pope Francis.

Pope Francis has been both praised and criticized for his often-unorthodox beliefs when it comes to religious and economic issues. In many ways, he’s given substantial more left-leaning lip service for the Catholic Church on issues like gay marriage and poverty–and urging the Church to find ways of better including more liberal populations in Europe and the United States.

But despite all of the arguments made in support and opposition of transgender rights, Pope Francis remains opposed. And, because of his stature as the head of the largest singular religion in the world, he offers a unique perspective: that, because both men and women were created in the image of God, that’s something that can’t be replicated–especially by surgery that turns men into women and vice versa.

That’s a sentiment–a religious sentiment–that seems to be missing from a lot of the commonplace arguments about transgenders these days.

Pope Francis takes a longer term view of the often-trying controversial issues of the day.

As he told the bishops from Puerto Rico, “Know how to keep a distance from any form of ideological or political trend that may lead you to waste time and your true zeal for the Kingdom of God.”
