Driving Crazy
"Well, Bruce, it looks like you were going 87mph in a school zone"

The famously corrupt local government surrounding the nation’s capital is offering gender-neutral driver’s licenses, even though it violates federal law. Beginning next week residents in Washington D.C. can obtain the gender-neutral licenses, according to a local news report that quotes the D.C. councilwoman behind the measure proclaiming “you have the right to make a choice between male and female.” In the article the lawmaker, Brianne Nadeau, is referred to as a gender-neutral “council member.”

Residents will have an array of gender choices that include “non-binary” and “undesignated,” according to the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Depending on what option is chosen, an “X” will appear on the card in the place of an “M” for male or “F” for female. Councilwoman Nadeau, who represents Ward 1, is sponsoring a bill to make the gender-neutral licenses part of the permanent city code. She’s concerned that the gender-neutral license program can be revoked by a new administration in D.C. government.

“The District has always sought to be a safe and welcoming place for our LGBTQ community, and today we are continuing to deliver on that legacy,” the councilwoman said in a statement posted on her official website. “Gender is a spectrum and some of our residents do not identify as male or female. Current licenses force residents to conform to genders that don’t accurately reflect their identity. This has not only a practical impact but also a deeply negative emotional and mental health impact. This bill changes District identification documents so they can accurately reflect the needs of our residents.”

D.C. is the nation’s second jurisdiction to offer gender-neutral licenses. Oregon was the first, allowing residents to mark gender as “not specified” on applications for learner’s permits, identity cards and driver’s licenses. Beginning next month, the state is also allowing residents to change the “sex designation” on existing licenses or ID cards. “The information you provide to DMV when changing your gender designation will be kept confidential,” according to the Oregon DMV website.

Not surprisingly, California is also working to pass a similar measure and the state’s Senate has already approved a bill (Gender Recognition Act), that also includes gender-neutral birth certificates. The California bill states that “every person deserves full legal recognition and equal treatment under the law” and the legislation aims to “ensure that intersex, transgender, and nonbinary people have state-issued identification documents that provide full legal recognition of their accurate gender identity.”

The problem with all this is that it’s at odds with federal law, at least the driver’s license portion. The REAL ID Act, passed by Congress after the 9/11 terrorist attacks specifically requires gender on each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by a state. The law was enacted in 2005 at the recommendation of the 9/11 Commission to establish minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s license and ID cards. It also prohibits federal agencies from accepting for official purposes licenses and identification cards that do not meet these standards.

Title II of the act specifically states that “features on each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by the State” must include: The person’s full legal name; the person’s date of birth; the person’s gender; the person’s driver’s license or identification card number; a digital photograph of the person; the person’s address of principle residence; the person’s signature; physical security features designed to prevent tampering, counterfeiting or duplication of the document for fraudulent purposes; a common machine-readable technology with defined minimum data elements.

Under the Real ID Act federal agencies are prohibited from accepting driver’s licenses or ID cards from noncompliant states for official purposes, including boarding an aircraft, accessing federal facilities and entering nuclear power plants.

Sara Kelly Keenan, the first person to receive a re-issued birth certificate from New York City with the gender “intersex,” instead of male or female, was seen leading a lobby that is actively making efforts to get legislators in California to pass a bill that would call for a third gender option on state documents.

Keenan has been noted saying that she has male genes, female genitalia, and mixed reproductive organs. “My body looks quite different from other women,” she said.

Carly Mitchell is another California resident who also identifies herself a “non-binary” has joined hands with Keenan to promote the concept and put pressure on the state authorities.

“Non-binary,” is the term that is suggested to be used for describing the third gender; as they do not fit into the standard definition of a male or a female, including those that identify as transgender, male and female or gender fluid.

The duo is very determined towards having California create a non-binary gender option for those that do not identify with either the male or female gender. They are looking forward to a bill that would allow California residents to select non-binary option on their birth certificates and on their drivers’ licenses.

“Having this license protects me from job discrimination, from imprisonment in many cases,” Mitchell said. “Society doesn’t understand that we exist.”

The attorney representing the activists was noted stating that although the pressure is immense and that even though the DMV is very supportive of the issue, they are still hesitant to issue the licenses with this new option.

“We’ve met with the Department of Motor Vehicles who is very supportive of providing this non-binary option,” attorney Toby Adams said.

On the other hand, Greg Burt, from the California Family Council expressed his views, “I don’t think people realize the implications on letting people pick what sex they are.” He added, “If you change sex to be a description of someone’s feelings, then anyone can claim to be a male or female.”

Crime

Spurring heated debates all over, California’s law enforcement policies, which have led to decreasing arrest rates and early prison releases, are being blamed for the sharp surge in crime rates.

In a recent report, Fox News stated that a large majority are now blaming the liberal law enforcement policies for the surge in crime. The program was designed to decrease the number of individuals imprisoned while ensuring the safety of the people; however, critics are pointing to the numbers to show that the program is ineffective at keeping people safe and quite effective at reducing the number of inmates.

“The most recent statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice show violent crime rates in some California cities has increased by over 50 percent,” said Michele Hanisee, president of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorneys.  “If you look at the national data, our violent crime rates are going up faster than the rest of the nation. So why?”

Police officials and prosecutors have an explanation though; a number of prison reform measures, which reduce the state prison population by 20,000 inmates, by making certain felonies misdemeanors and liberating non-violent offenders earlier than usual. Assembly Bill 109, which saved California around $100 million, saw the transfer of 60,000 felony parole violators a year from state prison to county control. However, some believe that it did cause a lot of trouble.

The number of arrests has also fallen drastically in California, but the cause is believed to be much murkier than the one for plummeting imprisonments.

The Los Angeles Times reported that arrests by the LAPD fell by 25% in two years from 2013 to 2015. Although the reason behind the trend is still unclear, similar decreases were observed throughout the state. What is considered to be the lowest arrests recorded in about 50 years, the California attorney general’s office reported that arrests fell to 1.1 million in 2015 from 1.5 million in 2006.

Some give credit to the latest police policies that focus on preventing crime rather than waiting for it to happen then arrest perpetrators. Meanwhile, others believe that officers’ morale is considerably low as a result of liberal law enforcement policies and the national debate on police tactics.

However, despite the promise to decrease the cycle of crime through liberal law enforcement policies, crime is on the rise in the state. A 2015 report from the Public Policy Institute of California indicates that property crime rose by 6.6% while violent crime was up by 6.6%. This surge in crime rates was noted for a large number of counties.

Someone forgot the "Don't" in this sign.

After a contentious debate, the California Senate passed Senate Bill 54, on Monday. The bill, being called “sanctuary state” bill, will prohibit state and local law enforcement agencies from investigating, detaining, reporting or arresting individuals for immigration enforcement.

While Republicans warned that the bill would lead to criminals being let go – cautioning that the move would displease President Trump – Democrats say that Californians had to take a stand to protect “hardworking” immigrants that have become an integral part of the nation’s cultural and economic pillars.

The Senate voted 27 to 12 along party lines to pass the bill, which will, before moving to the governor’s desk, be considered by the state Assembly. State Senator Kevin de Leon, the bill’s author, said that California “cannot be intimidated” by pressure from President Trump to deny sanctuary states federal funds and grants. “This is about making our communities safer, not less safe … We don’t grovel and put our hand out so we can get a little money and buy a police car,” he said. “Our role and responsibility is to protect all individuals.”

As part of the ongoing crackdown by the Trump administration, the Department of Justice will no longer give any grants to on disobliging local governments of sanctuary jurisdictions.

“We don’t have to collaborate and use our local tax dollars to enforce federal immigration laws,” Leon said in an interview. “If they want to go after the bad guys, the violent felons and drug dealers, we are more than happy to continue to work with them. But if they want to split families up and deport the nanny, that’s not what America’s about and that’s not what California is about.”

Republicans, however, argued on Monday, that the bill means the state is overstepping its limits as the implementation of immigration policy is the domain of the federal government. The Republicans also went on to say that the move to make California a sanctuary state would make it a “magnet” for dangerous criminals.

Deportation of undocumented immigrants was one of Trump’s major campaign promises. After taking charge of the Oval Office in January, Trump has issued orders for immigration laws to be enforced with more aggression. Before taking office, Trump had also promised to create a special “deportation force” tasked to carry out such work.

Underground Railroad

Californians are building a new Underground Railroad to fight Trump’s immigration laws, but is it really like the one from the 19th century that freed slaves?

Pastor Ada Valiente took CNN on a tour of a home in Los Angeles that she is refurbishing to welcome immigrants that are on the run from US Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents.

Valiente told CNN that he could see “three families” living in the house.

When asked about what will happen if I.C.E. does come knocking? She said, “I definitely won’t let them in. That’s our legal right. If they have a warrant, then they can come in.”

The house is part of a larger network of homes that is being called the new Underground Railroad by the corporate media. Californians are thinking they are doing the honorable thing, and they are, if non-criminal families were going to be on the run from immigration officers.

Unlike the Underground Railroad of the mid 19th century that helped slaves escape to the North, this modern day Underground Railroad is going to fight against federal agents searching for criminal illegal aliens.

In a memo that DHS released that outlined the new immigration crack down, it specifically says it wants to expedite the removal of criminal illegal immigrants and those that have been here less than two years.

See the DHS memos here.

If immigration does go after the criminals that are also illegal immigrants, then are the members of the new Underground Railroad just helping criminals?

Building the new Underground Railroad is just one step that Californians are taking to stand against Trump and his immigration policy designed to protect Americans and deport illegal immigrants that have committed felonies.

The USA Today reported earlier this month that a “sanctuary state bill” or Senate Bill 54 was introduced to make California the first sanctuary state.

Making California a sanctuary state would limit local law enforcement’s relationship with federal I.C.E. agents. State and local police would be restricted from helping with information and manpower to enact Trump’s immigration crackdown.

The only way to stop the federal agents from working in California is for the state to secede from the nation. The group called YesCalifornia is gaining ground on a petition to get 600,000 signatures in order to put a secession vote on the ballot in 2018.

The real question is, why is California fighting Trump so much on immigration when criminal illegal aliens are killing Californians? It makes no sense.

A felon and five-time deported illegal immigrant shot and killed Kate Steinly in San Francisco.

Nancy Pelosi, House Minority leader from California had to face a grieving mother when she asked about sanctuary cities after her son was tortured and killed by an illegal immigrant. See the tearful exchange below.

California is resisting Trump’s immigration crackdown and it is not the same as southern slaves, stolen from their homeland, attempting to free themselves by heading north. If the pastors built the new Underground Railroad through Mexico to help families get to the United States, then maybe.

But protecting people that came here on their own, illegally and who have committed crimes should not be compared to the brave men and women of the 19th century that organized the real Underground Railroad.

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a records request with the California Legislature Joint Rules Committee seeking to examine legislative records regarding the state’s employment of former Obama U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr.:

All contracts between the California Legislature and former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. or Covington and Burling.

All communications between the California Legislature and former U. S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. or Covington and Burling about the Legislature’s retention of Holder and/or Covington and Burling.

On January 4, 2017, California legislative leaders announced that they have hired Holder to assist them in anticipated federal challenges to several state policies such as climate change and immigration.

In a statement, Kevin de Leon, California Senate President Pro Tempore said, “With the upcoming change in administrations, we expect that there will be extraordinary challenges for California in the uncertain times ahead.”  The California Attorney General, who represents the State’s interest in court, already has a budget of $190 million.

Holder was one of Obama’s longest-serving and most controversial Cabinet members.

On June 28, 2012, Holder became the first U.S. Attorney General to be held in contempt of Congress on both civil and criminal grounds. The contempt charge came in connection with Holder’s refusal to turn over documents on Operation Fast and Furious, the Obama administration’s gunwalking scandal. Judicial Watch has since exposed numerous atrocities associated with this scandal.

Under Holder the Justice Department dismissed its voting rights case against the New Black Panther Party. The Justice Department originally filed its lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party following an incident that took place outside of a Philadelphia polling station on November 4, 2008. According to multiple witnesses, members of the New Black Panthers blocked access to polling stations, harassed voters and hurled racial epithets. A video of the incident, showing a member of the New Black Panther Party brandishing police-style baton weapon, was widely distributed on the Internet. In March 2011, Judicial Watch sued the Holder Justice Department for records detailing its contacts with NAACP about the dismissal of the lawsuit.

In 2013, the Justice Department was caught spying on The Associated Press by collecting months’ worth of phone records of reporters and editors. Fox News’ James Rosen was among those targeted by Holder’s Justice Department.

Holder left the Justice Department in 2015 to rejoin Covington & Burling.

“Judicial Watch’s records request is designed to expose how California state legislators are wasting tax dollars to take care of another corrupt politician – Eric Holder – under the guise of resisting the rule of law on immigration and other matters,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.  “His record at the Clinton and Obama Justice Departments demonstrates a willingness to bend the law in order to protect his political patrons.”

The California Republic is introducing a string of crazy new laws in 2017, on top of decades of other crazy laws and policies that have left the state with the second highest cost of living in the nation – a feat for the third largest state in the nation.

To protect their lax immigration policies, gun grabbing (or at least magazine grabbing), and their business-busting stance on global warming, state democrats have moved forward to hire former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

Holder is now a partner at the prestigious firm, Covington & Burling after serving Barack Obama as his chief law enforcement officer from 2009 to 2015.

Eric Holder will serve as the state’s legal adviser going into the Trump presidency and his firm’s retainer will be paid for by the taxpayers of California . . . and it’s unlikely that retainer will be cheap.

California Governor Jerry Brown has stepped up his battle against global warming despite power and water shortages that have plagued the state for years.

Shortly following the election of President Elect Trump, Holder cast doubt on the results by tweeting, “This is vote fraud/rigged elections. Our democracy is weakened when American citizens can’t vote #votersuppresion.”

Holder was also a frequent critic of Trump, saying, “Trump is dangerous/unfit.”

Many have read the stories of California’s new bans on guns and ammo that include the prohibition on online ammunition sales and the requirement of identification when purchasing ammo in a store; however, some other shocking new laws have remained under the radar for those outside of the increasingly liberal state.

First, and back to gun laws, there is run on guns in California at the moment as “assault” weapons will be officially banned as the state voted on legislation to close the “bullet button” loophole (basically it’s a magazine release that requires a “tool” to use).

Since Californians have a five-day waiting period, the day after Christmas will be the last day they can submit their background check and purchase what will be a banned firearm.

For those current owners of soon-to-be-banned AR’s AK’s and other “evil” rifles, they will be required to register their guns with state law enforcement authorities.

Even more draconian is the new law on “high capacity” magazines. On July 1st, 2017, anyone in possession of a magazine that holds 11 or more rounds will face fines of $100 to $500.

No grandfather clause exists for gun owners and Californians will be required to dispose of banned magazines in one of four ways: ship it out of state, sell to a “licensed firearms dealer”, destroy, or surrender your magazines to law enforcement.

Anyone looking for a deal on magazines would be smart to check California posts on Armslist.com (basically the Craigslist for guns).

Moving on to the bizarre new regulations hitting the Republic of California in 2017, one that specifically stood out was the decriminalization of prostitution that will take place statewide . . . but it’s not what you think.

Only prostitutes under the age of 18 will be safe from arrest and conviction. Whaaat?

Yes, state legislators in their brilliance decided that child prostitution should no longer be a crime as underage prostitutes should be seen as victims and not criminals. They must have missed the movie Taxi Driver.

For those not concerned with the legalization of child prostitution, they may be a bit worried about the new distracted driving laws that limit drives to ONE touch or tap on a mounted phone.

While that may ease distracted driving accidents, the effort is undone with a new laws that requires children under the age of two to be strapped into a REAR FACING child seat.

This demented new law which shows that the majority of California law makers who are likely childless due to homosexuality or preference, love to cram kids in back seats with their legs crunched Indian-style in notorious LA traffic.

Those same children will grow up to attend public schools that have been sanitized of offensive mascots thanks to yet another 2017 law that bans the use of “Redskin” as a mascot name for schools.

As Californians enjoy their new laws, they should realize that this is just the start of the madness as another new law gives “low-level” felons the right to vote.

Way to go guys!

Watch as people sign the petition to put Sasquatch, or the man/animal better known as Big Foot, on the California endangered list.

Mark Dice is known for exposing the ignorance of Americans in hilarious fashion and this video is no different.

Watch as Mark films person after person signing the petition to put Big Foot on the endangered species list in California.

The guy at the end gives us hope as Americans. At least there are still some people who pay attention.

Mark Dice has asked people to sign petitions to repeal the Bill of Rights, support Sharia Law and even to end women’s suffrage.

In one of his more daring videos to show how ignorant and suspicious people are in general, Mark Dice offered ten different people a chance to take a 100-ounce bar of silver or a Hersey’s chocolate bar. Trick or treat.

Guess how many selected the silver?

Mark Dice’s channel is definitely worth subscribing to.

Ironically, the YouTube sensation films all his video in the heart of California. The same state that wants to become its own country, because it didn’t like the election results.

They wanted to elect Hillary Clinton, a lady that only 15% of Americans think is honest and trustworthy. Is it a coincidence that about 15% of Americans believe in Big Foot? I think not.

Would you want to make sure Big Foot is added to the Endangered Species List?

Californians cried together after the divisive Trump train steamrolled through our hope for a future without hate. What choice do we have but to leave the USA?

What kind of nation have we become when we let a person who said the worst things about all kinds of people become our leader?

Don’t we have are right to challenge the man you call president?

We don’t feel that way over her on the left coast. We know that love Trump’s hate, but that didn’t happen on Election Day.

Somehow America voted against “the most qualified person to ever run for president”. (Not my words, but president Obama’s.) How sexist are we as a nation.

After the KKK endorsed Donald Trump, people still supported “billionaire”. His supporters have at least one thing in common with the KKK, but I am proud to say that I have nothing in common with them except the color of my skin. I don’t even want them in my country.

He said that he would ban all Muslims from entering this country, yet people supported him. Millions of people.

I could go on and on about what Trump said and who he insulted, but that doesn’t matter now. He is the president and we don’t want to take it. We don’t accept it. Trump is not my president.

I have friends who are here “illegally” and I don’t want to see them or their families deported. What choice do we have but to leave America? We don’t have a choice.

This week, the legal process has started for California to leave the United States and become our own country. We have everything we need right here. We have the best wines, beaches, tacos and even marijuana. We don’t need to associate with people that vote for hate. We voted for love. Love trumps hate.

We could have had the first ever-female president, but instead we got Donald freaking Trump. Of all people, your America voted for Donald Trump.

Here in California, we like our culturally diverse friends and our freedoms to marry anyone we choose, even if that is a Muslim from Syria. Trump cannot stop us; after all he is not our president.

Come to California and help us leave the United States. There might some speed bumps in the process, but even if we don’t have everything figured out yet, at least we’re not racist.

Do you support California leaving the United States? Let me know in the comments below.
