Illegal Alien

A government official warned employees deploying for the influx of illegal immigrant minors about health and safety risks because the new arrivals would have tuberculosis and some were young adults—not children—like the Obama administration proclaimed, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. “We might as well plan on many of the kids having TB,” states a June 26, 2014 guidance e-mail from a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) environmental health scientist, Alaric C. Denton, as the agency prepared to handle the crisis. “Most of these kids are not immunized, so we need to make sure all our staff are immunized.” Denton, who is stationed at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, predicts in the directive that the agency will be overwhelmed pretty quickly and that screening requirements will be hard to keep up with.

Judicial Watch had to sue the CDC’s umbrella agency, the Department of Health and Human Services, (HHS) for the records. Though chunks have been redacted, the documents contradict the Obama administration’s public statements dismissing possible health and safety risks created by the tens of thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) fleeing violence in Central America. The CDC official reveals in the documents obtained by JW as a result of the lawsuit that “some of these kids are not really kids they are young adults, and we should be wary of personal safety.”

JW reported this early on, when the first group of UACs arrived through the Mexican border in the summer of 2014. Homeland Security sources directly involved with the mess told JW that holding centers were jam-packed, rampant with diseases and sexually active teenagers. A veteran Border Patrol officer who heads the agency’s Tucson sector quickly established that many of the UACs were not little kids but rather 17-year-olds with possible ties to gang members in the U.S.

Weeks later JW reported that the nation’s most violent street gangs—including Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13—were actively recruiting new members at U.S. shelters housing illegal immigrant minors. A high-level Homeland Security source told JW the gangs used Red Cross phones at the shelters to communicate with the new recruits. Last fall the Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that the MS-13 has been fortified and able to remain a top tier gang thanks to the influx of illegal alien gang members that recently crossed into the state.

The MS-13 is a feared street gang of mostly Central American illegal immigrants that’s spread throughout the U.S. and is renowned for drug distribution, murder, rape, robbery, home invasions, kidnappings, vandalism and other violent crimes. The Justice Department’s National Gang Intelligence Center (NGIC) says criminal street gangs like the MS-13 are responsible for the majority of violent crimes in the U.S. and are the primary distributors of most illicit drugs.

This new batch of government records, part of an ongoing JW investigation into the UAC disaster, indicate the administration was well aware of the danger in allowing hordes of illegal immigrant youths to enter and stay in the U.S. At the very least it flies in the face of the administration’s false narrative involving the key issues of health and safety surrounding the new arrivals which have been relocated throughout the nation. Denton, the CDC environmental health scientist who warned colleagues prior to deployment, works at the agency’s Environmental, Safety and Health Compliance Office (ESHCO).

Officials from other federal agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), were also involved in the exchanges. JW will continue receiving records from the government involving this issue as part of an agreement, supervised by a federal judge, stemming from our lawsuit.

Following the influx of illegal immigrant minors from Central America, an official at the federal agency charged with protecting public health describes Barack Obama as “the worst pres we have ever had,” an “amateur” and “Marxist,” according to internal emails obtained by Judicial Watch.

JW got the records as part of an investigation into the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) activation of an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to deal with the barrage of illegal alien minors last summer. Tens of thousands of Central Americans came into the United States through the Mexican border and contagious diseases—many considered to be eradicated in the U.S.—became a tremendous concern. The CDC, which operates under the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), responded by opening an emergency facility designed to monitor and coordinate response activities to eminent public health threats.

This special emergency division was created after the 2001 terrorist attacks and has responded to more than 50 public health threats, including hurricanes, food borne disease outbreaks, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic and the Haiti cholera outbreak. Scientists from across the CDC are brought together to analyze, validate, and efficiently exchange information during a public health emergency and connect with response partners. The EOC also coordinates the deployment of CDC staff and the procurement and management of all equipment and supplies that agency responders may need during their deployment.

It’s a major and costly operation that can stick American taxpayers with a huge tab. That’s why JW launched a probe when the Obama administration took in the illegal immigrants, initially coined Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), with open arms last summer. JW has sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for planning records involving the border crisis as well as information relating to the solicitation of “on-demand escort services” for the 65,000 UACs that remain in the U.S. Last year JW also reported that the illegal immigrant minors have brought in serious diseases, including swine flu, dengue fever, possibly Ebola virus and tuberculosis.

The CDC records obtained by JW this week include email exchanges between agency officials directly involved in the activation of the EOC to handle the health threats created by the influx of illegal alien minors last summer. In an email dated June 9, 2014, CDC Logistics Management Specialist George Roark wrote to CDC Public Health Advisor William Adams that “no country in the world would allow” the influx. Adams replies that “in ten years or less, they’ll all be voting…Commander’s intent…” Roark fires back by describing Obama as “the worst pres we have ever had…he truly is ‘the amateur’ but a Marxist too.”

In an unrelated email dated June 18, 2014, CDC Intelligence Analyst Daniel Bubacz describes the situation as a, “Leave No Child on the other Side of the Border Policy.” This refers to a disastrous federal education law known as No Child Left Behind aimed at improving the long suffering academic performance of minorities in the nation’s public schools. More than a decade and tens of billions of dollars later, the measure failed to significantly increase the academic performance of the targeted demographic and is best known as a massive fleecing of taxpayer dollars.

Ebola Coverup

This past Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Media Buzz” program investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not putting out the current information on how many potential cases of Ebola they are currently tracking in the United States.

According to Attkisson, a CDC representative answering questions on potential Ebola cases admitted that the agency has refused to update their website with current information.

In her conversation with Media Buzz host Howard Kurtz, Attkisson said, “I called CDC not long ago and I said how many cases are being monitored in the United States and they said 1,400. I said, “Where are these updates on your website?” “They said they’re not putting it on the web”…“public information we have a right to know and the media should…cover.”
Attkisson added that the CDC might be covering up the numbers to minimize panic across the United States.

Attkinson also said that media coverage of the Ebola outbreak has come to a halt since President Barack Obama appointed Ron Klain to be his Ebola Czar. Klain, who is not a doctor and has no medical training, is known for his ability to manage the media and, more importantly, keep secrets. Since his appointment, the government stopped releasing statistics and granting interviews in an effort to control the news.

The suspicion is not without foundation. Last November, Forbes admitted that they and other news organizations agreed to not report on potential cases for the federal government.

That’s not all.

Over two months ago in an exclusive interview on the Alex Jones Show, Doctor James Lawrenzi revealed that potential Ebola patients were being “disappeared” from hospitals in Missouri in an attempt to hide the severity of the outbreak.

In one case, Dr. Lawrenzi spoke of a person returning from Africa that was seen “bleeding out of every orifice” before being taken from the hospital without notice. “These patients are disappearing…and God knows where they’re going,” he said.

News from the Border

Former Border Patrol Agent Zach Taylor revealed to Infowars last October that the Department of Homeland Security and CDC were also disappearing potential Ebola victims as they attempted to cross the United State’s southern border.

As Infowars reports:

“The agents are telling us that they’re seeing some people who are obviously sick, with shivering type illnesses, with possible dehydrating illnesses like diarrhea and vomiting,” Taylor said.

“Those people are disappearing, we don’t know what they have, where they’re going, where they’re taking them – surely they’re being quarantined somewhere we just don’t know where and even the agents don’t know what the diagnosis is of these illnesses.”

More reason for suspicion is the fact that even as the government publicly downplayed the spread of Ebola, more than 250,000 Hazmat suits were sent to Dallas as the CDC purchased over 1.4 million surgical gowns and as many as 10,000 body bags.
