Chicken

Fox News, preferring ratings to relevant debate, has decided to throw newsgirl Megyn Kelly into the mix as one of three moderators.

The debate, set for Thursday night, is turning into buzz about Kelly going head-to-head with the billionaire candidate rather than a substantive debate on the issues.

In the first debate hosted by Fox News, Megyn Kelly came out with guns blazing for Donald Trump, attempting to brand him as a misogynist.

Trump fought back during and after the debate in his typical attack fashion with Kelly taking a break from her show.

Since the debate attack, Kelly has been on the rise and dedicates her shows to guests who regularly attack Trump and promote Ted Cruz, such as talk show personality, Glenn “Waterwoks” Beck.

On Monday, Trump signaled to CNN that he may skip the debate out of protest of a “biased” Kelly being permitted to moderate, saying, “I’ll see. If I think I’m going to be treated unfairly, I’d do something else. I don’t think she can treat me fairly, I think she’s very biased. But that doesn’t mean I don’t do the debate. I like doing debates.”

Fox News broke from journalistic standards with their response to Trump’s possible no-show with a spokeswoman saying, “Sooner or later Donald Trump, even if he’s president, is going to have to learn that he doesn’t get to pick the journalists — we’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly.”

Telling Donald Trump that “he’s willing to show that much fear” about Kelly is akin to Biff Tannen calling Marty McFly “chicken.”

Yep, them’s fighting words.

Shortly after Fox News came out with the throwdown, Trump published a poll on Twitter to his 5.83 million followers:

The Twitter poll was attached to an Instagram video of Trump asking if Megyn Kelly can “really be fair at a debate.”

The clear answer is no, Kelly and Fox News are biased, but Trump has the opportunity to tear down the Fox News façade of being “Fair and Balanced” in front of millions of Americans.

Should he show?
