Clinton Scandal

by -

Hillary Clinton, self-avowed fighter for women, stood by and giggled—as one of her supporters threatened to strangle another female presidential candidate, Republican Carly Fiorina.

The exchange was caught on video at a rally in New Hampshire, where one of Hillary’s supporters was asking her a question during an apparent Q&A session.

After going on a rant about Fiorina’s record at Hewlett-Packard, where she was CEO from 1999 to 2005, the supporter—who sat in the front row but whose face wasn’t caught on camera—finished with:

“Every time I see her on TV, I want to reach in an strangle her. I know that doesn’t sound very nice…”

Hillary, giggling, and joked to her supporter: “I wouldn’t mess with you!”

The supporter added, “I can tell when [Fiorina’s] lying because her lips are moving. It’s ridiculous with this woman. And then to see her say you’re a liar really upsets me.”

Hillary lamented, “Well, unfortunately, that’s the political season we’re in.”

Last week, Fiorina herself came under fire for comments that a supporter of hers made at a rally, because she didn’t publicly rebut a supporter who called Obama a “black Muslim,” choosing instead to ignore that comment and answer his actual question.

But, so far, the mainstream media hasn’t jumped on Hillary standing by and cackling, as someone physically threatened one of her female opponents.

While the supporter probably didn’t actually intend to do Fiorina bodily harm—it’d be hard to do that through a television set—it speaks volumes about the level of discourse on the Left, and the double-standard between what’s expected of conservative candidates versus liberal candidates.
