Watch as a SpaceX rocket explodes on the launch pad with Facebook’s new revolutionary satellite inside.

The explosion took place just after 9am on Thursday as the rocket was fueling up to deliver the Facebook satellite to orbit.

Watch as the rocket explodes just a few moments into the video and then wait to hear the sound.

Due to the distance the camera’s microphone was away from the explosion, there is a delay between the explosion and the sound.

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX commented on Twitter and said that the cause of the blast is unknown.

Mark Zuckerberg posted on Facebook that he was very disappointed because the revolutionary satellite that was inside the rocket was to deliver the Internet to Africa and parts of the Middle East.

This is a set back for a company that has really aimed for the stars. Elon Musk has said that SpaceX would be able to take people to Mars as soon as 2025.

Yesterday he couldn’t get off the ground, but don’t expect this to stop SpaceX.

There were a lot of investments that will never pay off because of the explosion, but nobody was hurt in the explosion of the unmanned rocket.

Don’t expect this to stop Musk or SpaceX, they will be launching again soon. Facebook on the other hand is going to go a different route to try and bring the Internet to Africa.

gun owner

The day after Alton Sterling was shot and killed by police in Baton Rouge Louisiana, Philando Castile was pulled over for a broken tail light.

When Philando Castile was approached by an officer, he let the officer know that he had a license to carry a gun and he had one in the car. Exactly what someone who is legally allowed to carry a gun must do in that situation.

The officer then asked the man to get his license and registration. What happened next is one of the reasons that protests are breaking out and police were shot in Dallas.

The officer thought the man was reaching for his gun, and the officer shot him.

At that moment, Diamond Reynolds, the girlfriend of Castile, started broadcasting the situation live on Facebook.

The shocking video picks up with the cop cussing and panicking while the woman is yelling at the police because they asked him to get his license.

The most horrifying part is the young daughter in the back crying while Philando is dying in the front seat.

We won’t post the video because it is truly tragic, and not a video you will be able to forget after watching.

Philando Castile was a lawful gun owner and he served food at a local school. He learned all 500 kids’ names and their food allergies, according to a co-worker.

Black Lives Matter is protesting the shooting of Philando and many are calling for the National Rifle Association to get involved.

The tragedy is multiplied by the Facebook Live video. People watched in horror as a man died and the police panicked.

Much like the Alton Sterling video in Louisiana, the public is seeing the violence first hand and it is sparking protests and shootings around this county.

In this case, the actual shooting was not caught on camera, and there is an investigation happening now on the officers who pulled over Castile.

What are you thoughts on the shooting death of Philando Catile?

It has become customary to decorate one’s Facebook profile picture with a semi-transparent flag of a group or country that the world rallies behind.

When President Obama said gay marriage was legal, then all the profile pictures turned rainbow.

When the Paris attacks happened, we changed our profile picture to the French flag.

After the Brussels attack, we did it again. The Belgian flag was the trending image for our profiles.

Facebook made it easy, with a click of a button it was done, but not now. Not for us.

America offered the freedom for a creation like Facebook, and there is no respect back. Where is the flag Mr. Zuckerberg?

Is this yet another example of the liberal control of the media and the Internet, or are the people of Facebook too busy trying to decide what bathroom to use to care?

Kill Trump

A man with the Instagram name maine_musik decided to take a break from posting videos with him holding guns and rapping gangster lyrics to get involved in the political discussion.

Maine said he is going to kill Donald Trump if he goes after the food stamps that his children and mom use.

We have to take him seriously because he swears on his “dead pitbulls” buried in the back yard. Watch the video and decide if this is a serious threat.

The problem is that this was posted on Instagram over a week ago and it is still available on the site as the publishing of this article.

Instagram is owned by Mark Zuckerberg, who has been recently accused of censoring conservatives on Facebook. Clearly this is hate speech too, but since it is against Trump it is okay with Mark Zuckerberg.

The fact that he said that ISIS called him should be enough for the feds to look into this, but saying he is going to kill a presidential candidate and taking pictures with guns with 100 round clips should worry someone.

As of right now, maine_musik is still rapping on Instagram about killing people and shooting cops. Way to Zuckerberg.

What do you think should happen to maine_musik? Let us know in the comments.

Glenn Beck

Facebook has been under fire from the right since it was released last week that several former employees claimed that the social media giant was restricting the visibility of conservative news to its users.

Facebook has denied the claim of discrimination and the company came up with a plan to ease the tensions. To make peace with the right, the Californian company invited 16 conservatives to meet Mark Zuckerberg and talk about what the two groups can do better.

Glenn Beck was one of the conservatives that Facebook invited, and in a response to Time Magazine, it shows that the tech/media company really made an impression.

Glenn said this when asked by Time:

“I thought it was great. I thought they were sincere. And as I was leaving, I thought: ‘What company has done that with conservatives?’ Especially a media company.

Right now Target is telling me that my wife or my daughter has to go into a bathroom where there might be a strange man, and I can either like it or shop someplace else. Here’s Facebook, a much larger global corporation, sitting down with conservatives and saying: ‘I think there’s a problem, and one of the problems is you don’t trust us, and we want to work with you to build that trust.’

I haven’t gotten a call from the Washington Post or Google or Twitter or The New York Times ever saying: ‘Let’s sit down with a group of you so we can understand what your thoughts and feelings are and where you’re headed and how we can help.’ I thought it was amazing.”

Glenn Beck was obviously impressed, as were the other conservative guests.

Is this going to mark a change in how the “liberal” media works with and communicates with conservatives and Republicans? Probably not, but it was good to see Facebook make an effort.

What do you think? Is Facebook biased against conservatives? Have you had any personal experiences where Facebook has censored you? Let us know in the comments.

The news broke on the tech blog website Gizmodo that Facebook has been suppressing conservative topics, according to former Facebook employees.

As the plot thickens, the person in charge of the Trending Topics section on Facebook is a donor to Hillary Clinton. Tom Stocky, Facebook’s vice president of product management, has given the max allowed by an individual donor.

Why is this a big deal?

The person who is supposedly silencing conservatives at work is privately a huge Hillary supporter. That does create some hint of a motive and at least some major conflict.

Stocky says the allegations are false and went to Facebook to post a reply.

“My team is responsible for Trending Topics, and I want to address today’s reports alleging that Facebook contractors manipulated Trending Topics to suppress stories of interest to conservatives. We take these reports extremely seriously, and have found no evidence that the anonymous allegations are true.”

Facebook is denying any wrongdoing, but this issue isn’t going away considering the amount of influences that Facebook carries. Facebook is one of the largest distributors of news in the world.

Everyone knows that the leaders of Facebook are big supporters of the Democratic Party and especially to President Obama. Now former employees are releasing some troubling news about the bias of the company as well.

Former workers have stated that they routinely suppressed news from conservative points of view from the “trending” news area on Facebook.

The news section is highly influential to a lot of Facebook users because it allows them to see what everyone is talking about.

The former coworkers said that they would remove positive content about Mitt Romney in 2012 even though it was trending among active users.

For candidates and politics, it is in important to be in the news cycle and be seen. In the case of Facebook they are limiting the influence that conservatives can have on the platform while spreading the progressive news the company believes in.

The bigger picture is to look at the platform and how many people use it. Over a billion people use Facebook daily and it’s a place where millions of Americans get their daily news. Sometimes it is the only source.

Now imagine if those people are only getting half of the political news. Imagine if all the videos that were shared on Facebook about Donald Trump, only the ones that make him look like a racist and a bigot are allowed to be trending. Do you think that would have an effect on the perception of Donald Trump?

Here lies the problem for America, where do we get our honest news? Where can we get the truth?

The IRS targeted conservatives and now Facebook is doing the same thing and there will be a major backlash. This isn’t the last you’ve heard about this topic. Just don’t go on Facebook for updates, check back here.

Ted Cruz

One of the most covered “inside baseball” topics of this election season is Ted Cruz’s “sophisticated” data campaign.

“Data” would be an understatement as it’s more like cyber-stalking to understand what you stand for and why.

With the Cruz campaign’s new mobile app, supporters are asked repeatedly to allow the campaign to access all of your Facebook information along with your personal contact list.

This amounts to releasing not just your entire social circle (on and off line) but also what you like and don’t like.

To add creepy to creepiness, the campaign’s app also requests to track your movements . . . so the campaign can get an understanding of your movements in and out of town.

And don’t think that just because you didn’t download the app, you’re safe from Cruz’s prying eyes. The agency the candidate has hired boasts of having created psychographic profiles of ALL American voters based upon social media history, voter history and offline consumer reports.

Why does a political campaign want all of this data?

Well . . . just because.

Inspired by Obama’s data program in 2008 and 2012, the Cruz campaign has been convinced that this personal insight into the minds of the voters will benefit their persuasion and get-out-the-vote campaigns.

Those same consultants who talked Cruz into such tactics are also raking in millions of dollars in fees.

In reality, the techniques are useless and amount to nothing more than privacy invasions.

Television and radio ads cannot be fine-tuned to reach an individual based upon a personality profile. While it’s possible with digital display ads, the campaign isn’t making use of the data as they lack the marketing sophistication to deploy an advertising campaign with thousands of variables.

Instead, the data is used to glean information for Cruz’s speeches so he can reference, for instance, red-light cameras to a group of people who have an issue with it.

The same result could be produced by asking a local insider his or her thoughts . . . for significantly less money and certainly less personal intrusion.

A presidential contender who is willing to care less about privacy is likely to turn into a president who would make the NSA’s dreams come true.

boxer kills wife

A Florida man has been charged with second degree murder in the killing of his wife. He will be sentenced in January, but faces 25 years to life in prison.

He failed to prove to the jury that he shot his wife, Jennifer Alfonso, eight times as an act of self defense. Derek Medina is a 33 year old, 6 foot tall, 200 pound, amateur boxer. Considering that his wife was just 5’6” and that police stated that her body was found in a position indicating that she was, “cowering in fear”, the defense did not really stack in Medina’s favor.

Where the headline takes an unexpected turn from “Man Kills Wife Because She Threatened to Leave” begins when that same man posts a picture of his dead wife to Facebook.

The undefeated boxer alleged that he posted the photo in an attempt to show what “happened”.

Medina claims that Alfonso pulled out a knife and attacked him. He also alleges that he disarmed her and she came at him again. The medical examiner testified that all eight shots were fired downward, which makes a compelling case for Alfonso being on her knees, begging for her life, instead of a woman who was violently pursuing a victim.

His defense argued that his wife also abused drugs, battered her boxer husband, and even that she participated in Satanic worship.

Alfonso’s ten year old daughter was in the home for the murder. She was upstairs and did not witness the murder.

While Medina plead not guilty to first-degree murder, he said in his Facebook post that he would end up in prison. In fact, he included the following with the photo:

“I’m going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife. Love you guys. Miss you guys. Take care. Facebook people you’ll see me in the news,”
Well, Medina, you weren’t wrong.

Donald Trump might no longer be hosting “The Apprentice”–but he did get to tell someone, “You’re fired!”

Trump’s campaign adviser, Sam Nunberg, was fired over the weekend after it came to light that he had written several racially insensitive Facebook posts in 2008 and 2009.

Nunberg’s post were targeted at MSNBC host and racial agitator Al Sharpton, and President Barack Obama.

“meeting Rev. Sharpton today, no joke… will tell him that his daughter is n—!”

“so the NFL will allow murderers, dog kills, and men that beat their wives to play, but won’t allow Rush Limbaugh to have a minority stake in a team–no that will be Rev. Sharpton Justice YO!”

Nunberg initially denied that he had written the posts, and touted his record of diversity:

“I have a long record of working with diverse people,” he said. “And anything you are reporting on does not reflect anything on Mr. Trump or Mr. Trump’s campaign. I would also point out that all of these things were done before Mr. Trump’s campaign, if I even did them — which I deny.”

Unfortunately for Nunberg, Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski confirmed that Nunberg had authored the posts–and had been fired.

It’s unclear exactly what role Nunberg had in the campaign. Lewandowski, when announcing Nunberg’s firing, called him a “part-time, low-level staffer,” but previous information shows that Nunberg was allegedly Trump’s “right-hand” man.

Regardless of Nunberg’s specific job, it shows that even when working for a candidate who has made plenty of controversial remarks over the past weeks, even Donald Trump has his limits.
