Bernie Sanders and most of the Democrats want to raise the minimum wage to between $12 and $15 per hour. It seems like a good idea right? Not really.

Besides all the economic reasons not to raise the minimum wage that much, here is a video that reminds us why it is a bad idea.

Two female McDonald’s employees in South Carolina get into a heated fight over apple pies.

Tensions can build up at any workplace, but this is ridiculous, and brings the minimum wage debate back to the spotlight. Do people at fast food and other minimum wage jobs deserve $15 an hour?

Minimum wage jobs are supposed to get people into the workforce and allow them to move up.

If someone is making fries and getting paid $15 an hour, that is the same as a professional claims representative as Geico right now. Or a nurse in many places!

It is hard to argue that minimum wage workers at fast food restaurants deserve $15 an hour, but in all fairness, after watching the below video, the people need at least a raise.

Yeah, we couldn’t resist posting this for our readers.

It appears that Joe Dirt (or Dirté) has finally found his biological mother . . . her name is Carla and she has “an announcement for America.”

After watching the video, if you happen to come across Carla in the wild, readers are encouraged to place a McRib on the ground and walk away slowly.

Also, for the sake of liability to Liberty News Now, we DO NOT advocate traveling to the Dorset McDonalds to throat-punch Charlene.

Thank you.

Things aren’t looking up for presidential candidate Chris Christie, the Governor of New Jersey.

Not only are his poll numbers–and fundraising totals–tanking, but the one-time frontrunner now found himself kicked out of the quiet car on an Amtrak train.

Christie, who wasn’t able to get the seat he wanted, sat down in the quiet car with his McDonald’s. He called his secret service detail to yell at them for botching his train reservation.

Phone calls–let alone loud and angry phone calls–are not allowed in the quiet car, and Christie was asked by the conductor to get off the phone or leave the car. Christie chose to do the latter.

One of his fellow passengers, Alexander Mann, reported to Gawker what exactly went down:

“He got on last minute yelling at his two secret service agents I think because of a seat mixup, sat down and immediately started making phone calls on the quiet car. After about 10 minutes the conductor asked him to stop or go to another car. He got up and walked out again yelling at his secret service. He was drinking a McDonald’s strawberry smoothie.”

Mann added that Christie’s phone conversation included the repetition of phrases like, “This is frickin’ ridiculous” and, “Seriously?! seriously?!”

It’s unclear whether Christie’s seating arrangement got resolved–but he didn’t return the quiet car for the rest of the trip.
