A teacher at a high school in Norman, Oklahoma is teaching his students that “to be white is racist”, but that isn’t the worst part.

The unidentified teacher began a lecture talking about the mistreatment of Native Americans when a student started recording the lecture.

What the student recorded is making parents nervous all around the United States.

After rambling for a short time about what white people did to America and Native Americans, he really got into the meat of his lesson.

“To be white is to be racist, period. Am I racist? I say yea. I don’t want to be. It’s not like choose to be racist, but do I do things because of the way I was raised?”

According to this teacher, all you have to do to be racist is to be white, and this was actually taught in an American school.

The student who recorded the lecture wants to remain anonymous, but said she was offended because she was half Hispanic and didn’t like being called a racist.

After the student showed her parents the recording, they went directly to the school and to the media.

There is no report yet on the educator and if he is still teaching students that “to be white is racist.”

A combat veteran served his country and wanted to buy a home and retire in Oklahoma, but his neighbor has a different plan.

Danny Shedd is being sued by his neighbor for living in the house that he just bought. Does that sound weird? It should.

Danny Shedd found a dream home in Big Cabin, Oklahoma after serving his country for 12 years and fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Shedd family moved in and started settling down until the neighbors claimed that the house belonged to them and not the people who sold it. The outrageous claim could be true due to a “clerical error”, and now Danny Shedd has to fight for his slice of the American dream in court.

Here is what happened.

The house was sold legally to the Shedds, who did all the mandatory inspections and the house was sold and approved by the local government. The Shedd’s paid $172,425 in cash to buy the house.

After moving in, Danny called a surveyor to outline his property in order to build a fence. The surveyor came back and said that the Shedd’s had purchased 10 acres of woods, and not the house. Not even adjacent to the property. The house was actually built on their neighbor’s property.

To make things worse, their names were not on the deed to the house.

How is that possible? The property had been built, foreclosed and even re-sold and nobody figured out the problem? The claim is that it was just a “clerical error”.

Now the neighbors are suing to get the Shedds out of the house, but they have nowhere to go. The land they bought is worth a lot less than they paid, but it also isn’t suitable to build a home on.

With an issue of this magnitude, you would think that local government could fix this quickly, but it hasn’t been fixed.

Here is Danny Shedd’s YouTube plea for help because he isn’t getting it in Big Shed Oklahoma.

Let us know your thoughts on Danny’s situation in the comments below.

Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Mark Costello was stabbed to death on Sunday night–apparently at the hand of his own son.

Christian Costello, 26, apparently stabbed his father inside a Braum’s restaurant in Oklahoma City, and then began stabbing him again once the duo went out to the parking lot.

“It was shocking and dramatic and like I said, it was very cold and you could feel the sense of cold,” said a witness, Patrick Spencer, who was driving by as the stabbing continued in the parking lot. “Several people were able to step in and get the knife away from him and tackle him to the ground, and they tied him up with belts.”

Mark Costello was taken to the OU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. His son was taken into custody by Oklahoma City Police.

According to reports, Costello and his son had a fight with one enough earlier that day and agreed to meet at Braum’s. Christian attacked his father with a steak knife, and stabbed him at least four times inside the restaurant.

The outpouring of sympathy for Costello’s tragic murder came from all levels of Oklahoma politics.

Randy Brogdon, the State Republican Chair, said: “Mark Costello was a dear friend and tonight’s news has left me speechless. While this news is heartbreaking, please join me in praying for the family of my friend.”

Costello, a Republican, was elected to the position of Labor Commissioner in 2010, and won re-election last year. The Oklahoma Department of Labor closed their offices on Monday, in honor of Costello.

Costello is survived by his wife and their five children, including Christian.

The University of Oklahoma has caved to student demands–and is building a sexual orientation-segregated study lounge in its student union.

The university is, as one of Oklahoma’s largest public schools, funded largely by taxpayers.

The study lounge, which will begin construction soon, was backed by the student group, Queer Inclusion on Campus (QuIC) and will be for the exclusive use of the “LGBTQ” community, which includes students who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer.

QuIC asked for the study lounge to give the gay community on campus a so-called “safe space” where they can study unfettered by those pesky heterosexuals. Apparently, the thought of even having straight people studying in the same room is enough to make a space “unsafe” for gay Sooners.

However, despite QuIC loudly cheering their latest victory, in getting a study lounge built, their logic seems way off.

Namely: how on earth is segregating a group of people (in this case, gay men and women) away from the rest of the student body at all going to lead to “inclusion” on campus? Wouldn’t a private, exclusive study lounge not only breed resentment, but further hide away the gay community from the mainstream student body?

And, if gays get their own study lounge, shouldn’t other minority groups get one too? A blacks-only study lounge? A females-only study lounge?

QuIC and the University of Oklahoma represent the very worst of liberalism: a belief set that preaches tolerance and unity, when they really seek to calcify the lines that divide us, and keep people sectioned off into discrete little groups that think a certain way and believe a certain way. They seek to create perpetual victims–and you can only do that if you keep demographic groups thinking a certain way.

There’s a reason why the Left goes collectively bonkers whenever an articulate minority celebrity, politician, or pundit drifts to the conservative side. Funny how there was no “War on Women” when the Left was savaging Sarah Palin in 2008. Or how there was no outcry of “Black Lives Matter” when they threw (and continue to throw) every obscenity they can at black conservative Justice Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court. The Left doesn’t want independent thinkers: they want people who move in lock-step, and see themselves completely as victims, who require special accommodations, like a gay-only study lounge.

It’s sad to see the gay community at Oklahoma throwing in their lot with the small-minded liberal Left. Rather than join mainstream society–to live regular lives without letting a minority status wholly define them–QuIC and the University of Oklahoma would rather have gays study in their own “safe” lounge, separate but equal.
