Rasmussen Reports

Burn it Down index

A Rasmussen Reports survey just released showed that two-out-of-three likely voters are literally “angry” with the federal government.

The poll shows that 38% are “very angry” with federal policies.

But it gets worse . . .

A whopping 84% are “angry” with Congress, including 53% who say they are “very angry.”

As for large corporations, 57% of survey respondents said they are not happy with large corporations while 41% seem to be fine.

The poll falls in line with the momentum of Donald Trump’s campaign.

After the Republican response to the State of the Union where South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley asked the public to ignore the “angry voices” (admittedly referring to Trump).

The billionaire candidate was asked about it in the most recent debate to which he replied, “I gladly accept the mantle of anger.”

While the rise of the anger-defined TEA Party has come and at least plateaued, Americans still remain extremely unhappy with government on all levels and look to leaders to lead the charge against government.

If Americans were asked “Should we burn down government,” at this point, it’s possible a majority would say “yes” in order to get started with the rebuild.

What would you say?
