Driving Crazy
"Well, Bruce, it looks like you were going 87mph in a school zone"

The famously corrupt local government surrounding the nation’s capital is offering gender-neutral driver’s licenses, even though it violates federal law. Beginning next week residents in Washington D.C. can obtain the gender-neutral licenses, according to a local news report that quotes the D.C. councilwoman behind the measure proclaiming “you have the right to make a choice between male and female.” In the article the lawmaker, Brianne Nadeau, is referred to as a gender-neutral “council member.”

Residents will have an array of gender choices that include “non-binary” and “undesignated,” according to the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Depending on what option is chosen, an “X” will appear on the card in the place of an “M” for male or “F” for female. Councilwoman Nadeau, who represents Ward 1, is sponsoring a bill to make the gender-neutral licenses part of the permanent city code. She’s concerned that the gender-neutral license program can be revoked by a new administration in D.C. government.

“The District has always sought to be a safe and welcoming place for our LGBTQ community, and today we are continuing to deliver on that legacy,” the councilwoman said in a statement posted on her official website. “Gender is a spectrum and some of our residents do not identify as male or female. Current licenses force residents to conform to genders that don’t accurately reflect their identity. This has not only a practical impact but also a deeply negative emotional and mental health impact. This bill changes District identification documents so they can accurately reflect the needs of our residents.”

D.C. is the nation’s second jurisdiction to offer gender-neutral licenses. Oregon was the first, allowing residents to mark gender as “not specified” on applications for learner’s permits, identity cards and driver’s licenses. Beginning next month, the state is also allowing residents to change the “sex designation” on existing licenses or ID cards. “The information you provide to DMV when changing your gender designation will be kept confidential,” according to the Oregon DMV website.

Not surprisingly, California is also working to pass a similar measure and the state’s Senate has already approved a bill (Gender Recognition Act), that also includes gender-neutral birth certificates. The California bill states that “every person deserves full legal recognition and equal treatment under the law” and the legislation aims to “ensure that intersex, transgender, and nonbinary people have state-issued identification documents that provide full legal recognition of their accurate gender identity.”

The problem with all this is that it’s at odds with federal law, at least the driver’s license portion. The REAL ID Act, passed by Congress after the 9/11 terrorist attacks specifically requires gender on each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by a state. The law was enacted in 2005 at the recommendation of the 9/11 Commission to establish minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s license and ID cards. It also prohibits federal agencies from accepting for official purposes licenses and identification cards that do not meet these standards.

Title II of the act specifically states that “features on each driver’s license and identification card issued to a person by the State” must include: The person’s full legal name; the person’s date of birth; the person’s gender; the person’s driver’s license or identification card number; a digital photograph of the person; the person’s address of principle residence; the person’s signature; physical security features designed to prevent tampering, counterfeiting or duplication of the document for fraudulent purposes; a common machine-readable technology with defined minimum data elements.

Under the Real ID Act federal agencies are prohibited from accepting driver’s licenses or ID cards from noncompliant states for official purposes, including boarding an aircraft, accessing federal facilities and entering nuclear power plants.

Of course he won! Photo credit: Australian Weightlifting Federation

Last month, Mack Beggs, won the Texas State Championship in girl’s wrestling.

Wait, Mack?

Yes. Beggs is a 17 year-old who was born a girl, but is “transitioning” to be a boy.

Beggs who, according to reports, is taking testosterone as part of his gender transition, was required to compete in the women’s division by the state body that governs school sports in Texas.

Beggs, who desperately wants to be a boy, would likely not have fared so well if forced to wrestle actual biological young men.

But a girl packed with testosterone competing against “natural” girls is the equivalent as a drug-free Crossfitter competing in body building at the Arnold Classic.

Fast forward a month and Laurel Hubbard did something amazing by smashing New Zealand’s national record in women’s weightlifting.

Hubbard pulled a combined weight in the snatch, clean and jerk of 590 lbs.

Impressive . . . oh wait.

Hubbard is a big, 39-year-old dude with a ponytail.

He began transitioning in his mid-30’s to a women but wanted to continue competing in weightlifting competitions.

While Hubbard and Beggs are examples of transgenders dominating their sport, no one got physically hurt in their sports.

The same cannot be said about Fallon Fox who competes in women’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Fox isn’t imposing when the fighter walks into the ring at 5’7” and 144 pounds. But the cage fighter sports a unique advantage over opponents. Fallon was born a man and is fighting women.

In 2014, Fallon faced Tamikka Brents (a real women) and within two minutes, fractured her orbital bone and gave her a brutal concussion.

The transsexual fighter unleashed a torrent of knees, elbows and fists at Tamikka who had to turn her back to the former man to avoid more damage.

The referee stopped the fight for Tamikka’s safety.

Fallon has not had a professional fight since the beating of Brents as female champions like Ronda Rousey refuse to fight the transgender athlete.

That didn’t stop the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame from inducting Fallon Fox into their organization.

Should a separate gender class be created for transgenders in sports? What about other 57 genders that Facebook allows users to choose? Feel free to comment below.

Ahhh, the Good Ole Days. Boys were boys. Girls were girls. And “going to the bathroom” was a simple, private matter that required no direction from busybody lawmakers. Not anymore.

We no longer live in the era of “he” or “she.” In 21st Century American, the list of “gender types” is longer than the menu of flavors at a Baskin-Robins ice cream parlor. According to Tumblr – the social media platform serving as the “intellectual” epicenter of gender fluidity and other “social justice” nonsense – gender terms range from the basic, like cisgender (“the feeling of being the gender you were assigned at birth, all the time”); to the confusing, like vibragender (“a gender that is usually one stable gender but will occasionally changes or fluctuate before stabilizing again”); and to the genuinely bizarre, colorgender (“a gender associated with one or more colors and the feelings, hues, emotions, and/or objects associated with that color”). There appears to be no end to this madness.

Even the advocacy movement for such groups struggles to keep up with the amorphous definition of their constituencies. Whereas just one generation ago, the universally understood term for the gay community was “LGBT” (lesbian-gay-bisexual-transsexual), the acronym today has ballooned to “LGBTQQIAAP” (lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender-queer-questioning-intersex-asexual-allies-pansexual). The rationale behind this alphabet-soup absurdity is to increase inclusion of groups that otherwise make up statistically miniscule elements of the population when divided into such niches. The practical effect is exclusion by inclusion. According to one of the “As” in the acronym – “ally” — anyone who is not sympathetic to the cause is automatically excluded from the movement –becoming, in effect, an enemy.

As a general rule, people can refer to themselves by whatever name, title, or pronoun by which they desire to be known. And, within reason, it is common courtesy to try to respect their wishes. However, respect in this regard is no longer a two-way street. Understanding and tolerance are no longer shown to anyone who either does not know what to call someone, or politely chooses to stick to traditional, biologically-based gender pronouns and identities. Such people are branded as “homophobic” or worse, and lumped together into one of the Left’s “basket of deplorables.”

Sports associations have proudly placed themselves at the forefront of this Gender Identity Strike Force. The college sports division Atlantic Coast Conference, for example, announced last week that it would pull all championship games out of North Carolina in retaliation against “HB2,” the state’s so-called “bathroom bill” which does nothing other than reflect centuries-old, biologically-based restroom usage.

Public schools also have taken up the gender-identity challenge. In Chicago and Kansas City, public school students and faculty could face “consequences” for “intentionally referring to the student by a name or pronoun that does not correspond to the student’s gender identity” – with “identity” being wholly subjective and fluctuating.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Administration has drafted rules to levy fines on businesses of up to a quarter of a million dollars for not “respecting” a customer’s preferred terminology by which to be addressed. To avoid fines, the Big Apple’s Commission on Human Rights recommends “creating a policy of asking everyone what their preferred gender pronoun” might be, and “not limit the [customer database] options for identification to male and female only.”

It is one thing for a group of people or an individual to choose how to be identified; but a far different matter to employ the power of the law to force public and private businesses and individuals to engage in such nonsense; particularly when the list of pronouns by which individuals may choose to be addressed reads like a foreign language playbill.

By making gender identity identification a legal issue, the government gets to define the playing field for a societal debate about gender – something that, throughout human history until now, was never a topic needing debate in the first place. Worse still, in the Brave New World of Gender Identity Correctness, government is able to dictate to private citizens how to respond to such a debate, so as not to make anyone “uncomfortable.” But, as noted law professor Eugene Volokh suggests, “we should all feel uncomfortable about government regulators forcing people to say things that convey and support the government’s ideology about gender,” considering that such a debate makes no sense to most people in the first place.

Until recently, one might have though governments, universities, high schools, grade schools, and sports associations had more important things to worry about than bathroom protocols. Apparently not.

It is time for Target to reconsider their transgender bathroom rule?

A 43-year old transgender woman was arrested for taking pictures of another woman in a dressing room.

The transgender whose name is Shauna Patricia Smith is jailed under her transgender name, Sean Smith.

The news release said that Sean Smith committed the crime in Target, but her real name is Shauna.

Shauna hung her cell phone over the divider in the dressing room and took pictures of another woman changing.

The woman confronted the transgender voyeur, but she ran away.

The Sheriff’s office responded and was able to capture the transgender woman close by.

After looking over the video footage and the pictures on the phone of the transgender, she was arrested and booked into jail.

The distraught victim was photographed with no clothes on and felt violated. Luckily this person is in jail now, but the police are looking into any other similar cases that Shauna might be involved in.

Just last April, Target made headlines when it chose to allow transgenders in any bathroom or dressing room they identify with.

This isn’t the first arrest like this at Target and it won’t be the last.

Despite many conservative organizations that have urged its supporters to boycott Target and in May, a group of over a million signed a petition to boycott Target of the new rule.

As of right now, Target is staying strong in their support of transgenders and the LGBT community. It must not matter to Target that some of their shoppers are more likely to become victims just like the woman in the dressing room in this story.

Do you shop at Target? Let us know in the comments below.

ISIS fighters like to act tough and talk tough, but it turns out a group of ISIS fighters in Iraq were just acting like a bunch of girls.

The US supported coalition that has been fighting to take back Fallujah has destroyed the ISIS power structure in the city and the enemy is leaving.

The terrorist fighters who did not die in the shootouts are now trying to find ways to flee the city. Most tried to hide under the cover of refugees but a group of ISIS fighters tried something different.

Some dressed up as women and even put on makeup to try and sneak past the military and escape Fallujah.

A handful of bearded men pretending to be ugly women were stopped by Iraqi security forces and arrested.

An Iraqi commander said the ISIS fighters “have completely lost their morale and they have disguised in order not to be identified by the Iraqi security forces”, but it didn’t work this time.

Seeing the cross-dressing radical terrorists was a “beautiful” site, according to the commander. ISIS men dressed as women are not something you see everyday.

There is only one city in Iraq that is still being held by ISIS, but Iraqi forces are heading there next.

Mosul will see more fighting in the next few months and when the fighting is done and the good guys win, we can only hope that somebody is able to get some video or at least a few pictures of the ISIS men, dressed up as women trying to escape.

Did you think you would ever read a story on cross-dressing ISIS members? Let us know in the comments.

A judge in Oregon ruled that a person could change their gender to non-binary. They don’t have to be male or female.

Somehow a judge thought that it would be just fine to let Jamie Shupe, who was a woman, to declare herself legally as a non-binary.

She doesn’t identify as woman and she doesn’t identify as a man. Neither one fit, so she went with something more neutral, picking the name Jamie to symbolize her neutrality.

The ruling being praised on the left as a first for this indecisive group is just another example of the lunacy that is going on in the Democratic Party.

The co-executive director of the liberal organization Basic Rights said this about the judges ruling:

“A momentous day for genderqueer Oregonians. It’s really exciting for the courts to actually recognize what we know to be true: gender is a spectrum. Some people don’t identify as male or female.”

First of all, I bet you have never heard the term “genderqueer Oregonians” before have you. Yeah, neither have we.

Second of all, how is a court of law deciding how people feel? How can someone change who he or she is, just because they identify with another gender? A white man can’t identify as a black man and have his race legally changed.

This whole thing is a mess. How far is it going to go? As far as we let them take it. Soon judges will be ruling on men who identify as women who identify as animals.

What do you think about creating a new gender, non-binary? Let us know in the comments below.

Transgender Athlete

In Alaska a young boy turned into a young girl and became a track sprinter. Nattaphon Wangyot is the first transgender athlete to compete in the State Track Championship, and she got two medals.

The former boy took third in one event and fifth in another one. She was very excited after the win and despite having all the parts of a boy, she identifies as a girl. The Thailand born runner said, “I am a girl born in a boy’s body”.

She may feel like she is a girl in a boy’s body, but to some she is just a boy in a girl’s sport and they spoke out in protests at the State Championships.

Jim Minnery is the president of the Alaska Family Action group and spoke during a press conference at the State track meet.

“We are here today as a voice from the community to ensure that female athletes are not denied the playing opportunities and scholarships otherwise available to them and to make the playing field even again.

Allowing students to play on teams of the opposite sex disproportionately impacts female students, who will lose spots on track, soccer and volleyball teams to male students who identify as female.”

The transgender in athletics issue is a big one right now and one of the biggest stories ever on Liberty News Now was about a man who became a woman boxer and brutally beat a woman that was a woman boxer.

This isn’t going away either, more people are coming out and changing and there is more support than ever.

Even Richard Simmons is reported as becoming a woman. Expect to see more stories of transgender athletes until the playing fields are equal.

What do you think about a boy becoming a girl and competing against girls that are girls? Let us know in the comments.

The National Inquirer broke a story yesterday that fitness guru and celebrity Richard Simmons has transformed into a woman.

The Inquirer is reporting that Richard had a sex change operation and is living as a “soft-spoken” woman named Fiona.

Richard Simmons has taken a break from the public light, and hasn’t been seen in almost 1000 days.

People started getting worried and the investigation into his disappearance culminated in the release that Fiona has replace Richard.

Richard has always been a unique individual and in this day and age, this comes as no surprise to many.

The National Inquirer does report on the occasional “alien baby” and Bigfoot sighting, but they have also broken some major stories that are actually true.

The Inquirer broke the John Edwards adultery story, the Bristol Palin baby story and the Ted Cruz affairs. There is some legitimacy to their reporting although the “alien baby” has never been found.

Richard Simmons appears to be the next man turned woman, but what “Fiona” does next is anybody’s guess.

What do you think about Richard Simmons becoming Fiona? Let us know in the comments below.

Caitlyn Jenner

Bruce Jenner, the former Olympic gold medalist, decided to become a woman named Caitlyn Jenner. Now reports say Caitlyn Jenner is having second thoughts about being a woman and is thinking about “transitioning” back to Bruce.

Wow. The end must be near!

Caitlyn’s biographer and those close to her are saying she is having a hard time being a woman. Jenner’s publicist denies these claims, but there are numerous reports of people closest to Caitlyn saying she wants to switch back in the next few years.

Reports are saying that Caitlyn still is interested in women and for some reason is having a hard time finding the right one. Really?

This is the man/woman that decided to bring the transgender issue front and center and is now having thoughts of changing? That just makes this whole thing even more laughable. Honestly laughable.

We have an Olympic star who becomes a female on national TV and sparks a pro- transgender movement that has reached a point where we are changing our bathroom laws to account for the sliver of transgenders in the population.

Now after causing all that mess, Caitlyn wants to go back? Do we get to go back to actually having a male and a female bathroom?

Can we go back to not having confused kids in first grade learning about how some men like to dress up like women and head to the docks on a Saturday night?

Can we get back some of our soul that we lost during this discussion?

Will Bruce Springsteen play in North Carolina again?

This whole thing is a mess and there is no going back.

No matter what Caitlyn does to “transition” back to Bruce, she will still have parts of a she, when she is a he. She is going to make him wear a bra for the rest of his life. So when he is no longer a she and back to being who he was, is he no longer transgender? Sorry, we’re just confused, like every other rational person in America.

One thing we are not confused about is the direction of this country and it isn’t looking good.

Are you confused? Let us know in the comments.

Transgenders make up just a tiny percentage of Americans but the conversation about them is dominating the media and minds of people all over this great nation.

You may remember the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s campaign to rally support for the law to keep bathrooms safe in North Carolina, and now there is another pushback on the incredible progressive force that is the LBGT community.

The American Family Association started a petition to boycott the retail giant Target after its new sweeping transgender bathroom policy.

The petition quickly became the most popular action the group has taken.

Over 500,000 people have signed the pledge to boycott Target and that is in less than a week.

The progressive community has been protesting and boycotting, mostly lead by corporations not doing business in North Carolina or artists like Bruce Springsteen who decide not to perform in the state.

Progressives were able to get a couple hundred protestors to DC for the Democracy Spring protest two weeks ago, but this is different. This boycott pledge is signed by 500,000 people who say that are against people going to the bathroom of the gender they identify with.

The issue is not going away. North Carolina is just one of the first states to deal with the issue and Target is one of the first companies to make this new policy.

There will be more boycotts and more protests, but the field is pretty even. The right has been pushed around long enough and the feeling is overwhelming that the bar of our social morality has sunk too low.

People are really starting to voice their opinions and stand up for what they believe in. This time they are protesting with their wallets. There is no word on how Target’s sales have been affected, but if it is anything like the hit that Macy’s took after dropping Trump, then there could be some changes coming to the leadership of the retail chain.

Guarding Republicans

Over the weekend, the New York Times was slammed for running a piece where the news outlet apparently tried to cover up the motives...
