Wisconsin

by -

Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton called for a recount in Wisconsin and sure enough, Hillary is gaining ground in the futile attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.

After the first full day of recounting the votes in Wisconsin, Hillary Clinton has gained one vote on Trump.

In November, Trump won Wisconsin by only one percent or roughly 22,000 votes. Apparently that was too close for Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate who finished fourth in the state with 30,980 votes, as she raised money and pushed for the recount.

The first results have come in from the recount and in Menominee County, the recount found 17 votes for Jill Stein that were not counted. Gary Johnson had 12 more people support him than originally.

So far, Clinton and Trump had one and two votes removed respectively.

Hillary still has a long way to go if she wants to try and win in a recount, but she narrowed the gap by one vote so far.

Back in 2000 when Florida held a recount, the original vote had the two candidates only 500 votes away from each other.

Out of almost six million votes, Bush won by less than 500. When it is that close, of course we should recount.

Wisconsin has less than half the total number of voters that Florida had in 2000 and Trump won Wisconsin by over 20,000 votes. Yet, the recount goes on.

There is no possibility that the recount will actually change the election results, and Hillary will not become the president all of a sudden.

The disturbing part of this whole story is the Democratic Party and Hillary chastised Trump when he said he wouldn’t automatically accept the results of the election. They attacked him because they thought they would win. They didn’t win and now the DNC and Hillary are all doing the same thing they criticized Trump for talking about.

Hillary Clinton after the 2016 election.

We have not heard much from Hillary after she lost the most incredible election in modern history, but now she surfaces to reach a new low.

Hillary Clinton is now joining the Green Party’s Jill Stein in an effort to do a recount in several battleground states.

Right now a recount of the votes is happening in Wisconsin after Jill Stein raised enough money to have a recount.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign said over the weekend it would be involved and help in the recount efforts.

The campaign probably doesn’t remember this video where Hillary spoke about the reasons why Trump should accept the election results.

It is easy to tell people to accept the results when you think you are going to win. She didn’t win and now is going against all her own advice and supporting the recount.

Wisconsin started the recount by hand today. Jill Stein and her team are working on getting recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan as well.

The election ended with Trump having 306 electoral votes. He needed 270 to win.

If for some reason, the states come back with a different result on the recount, then Hillary could become the president.

Pennsylvania has 20 electoral votes, Michigan has 16 and Wisconsin has 10. If the vote was reversed in all three, then that would leave Trump with 260 electoral votes and it would give Hillary the win.

If Trump retained any one of the three states und recount, he will remain the president elect.

Hillary’s hypocrisy shines even after losing the first time election, but hopefully after this recount, this will be the last time she will lose this election.

School Shooting

On Saturday, April 23, an 18 year-old coward opened fire with a rifle on students leaving prom at his high school alma mater in Antigo, Wisconsin. Two victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The media initially ran with the typical articles about how the attacker had been bullied, etc. (his mother told the Associated Press that she hopes the tragedy “shines light on bullying and how deeply it affects people.”), but the national conversation died out pretty quickly, mainly because the attacker only managed to cause the death of one person – himself.

The coward didn’t achieve the “high score” he likely desired, or the notoriety these cowards so often crave, thanks to the quick response of a law enforcement officer who was already on scene. The officer engaged the attacker and stopped the threat.

This incident proves, just as did the Arapahoe High School shooting in Centennial, Colorado in 2013 and the Madison Jr./Sr. High School shooting in Butler Co., Ohio earlier this year, having an armed presence on the scene when the attack begins can drastically reduce the attacker’s ability to carry out his plans.

Not every school district can afford to employ officers at every event. But let’s not let money be a barrier that keeps us from protecting our kids.
