Ted Cruz Thinks You’re Dumb

Ted Cruz

In an interview conducted by the Christian Broadcast Network, Texas Senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz told the network that, “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice.”

Cruz continued, “Where we are beating him is when voters’ get engaged and they get more informed.”

Cruz is referring to the so-called “low information voter” which is a politically correct slur for dumb, working class voters.

While many voters may be too busy working and paying taxes to analyze the minutia of immigration policy or trade deals, they know that they are less prosperous and have less freedom, today more than ever.

Like all establishment candidates within the political class, Cruz’s statements show that he is trying to appeal to American voters by region and class, “Donald has done well in the Southeastern states. He has had a good base of support. We’ve done well as well . . . now Donald has a harder time in the West, it’s interesting. He does well with a certain demographic of voter.”

Cruz went on to state Trump’s tongue-in-cheek line, “I love the poorly educated.”

Ted Cruz’s excuse for his poor performance against Donald Trump may not sit well with working class America. Are Cruz’s elitist colors showing?
